The Black Dike, New Hampshire


The Black Dike, The North East's classic alpine ice route. A great day out with Jerry Gale















The route was a little bony as NH had 3" of
rain last month that affected allot of the
ice routes

Pitch 3 actually had ice to climb, nice....

poor visibility, strong winds and spindrift.
Couldn't be a better alpine day !

Mammoth to June Ski Tour, Feb 1, 2010

We had usually good snow conditions, yippee.
My out of the area friends found out what a day
